HEA 1108 has passed out of the Indiana House of Representatives and is heading to Governor Pence for signature.  This is bill that would allow children who were handled in criminal court as adults to be placed in the Indiana Department of Correction Division of Youth Services, and have the possibility of a modification of their sentence if they do well in rehabilitative services.

The Journal of Juvenile Justice, published by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) is available online here.

The National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges has an Adolescent-Based Treatment Database of treatment and screening tools, as well as a Juvenile Drug Court Information Center.

Have a restful weekend.
