The Reference Manual on Scientific Evidence, Third Edition (2011) features a series of reference guides on a wide variety of topics, including:

  • the admissibility of expert testimony,
  • DNA identification,
  • forensic identification expertise,
  • toxicology,
  • medical testimony,
  • neuroscience, and
  • mental health evidence.

It can be an invaluable place to start researching a complicated case, and was recommended reading at The Future of Neuroscience and the Law Conference sponsored by the American Bar Association, MacArthur Foundation, Gruter Institute, and Vanderbilt Law School.
