Juvenile Training Immersion Program Continuing to Rollout

Congratulations to three Hoosiers who are going to be attending Juvenile Training Immersion Program (JTIP) training in the next few weeks.

Amy Karozos from the Youth Law Team and Dan Schroeder from the Marion County Public Defender Agency will be attending the National Juvenile Defender Center JTIP Program in Ohio during the week of May 12, 2014.

Mark James, a public defender in St. Joseph County, was accepted to the 2014 JTIP Summer Academy sponsored by NJDC and Georgetown Law School in Washington, DC, beginning June 22, 2014.

Both programs are invitation only and these three leaders will join the sole JTIP-trained public defender in Indiana (yours truly).  Once trained, these public defenders can use this programming to help train other defense attorneys across the state while enhancing their own individual skills.
