There is unfortunate news that another person in Indiana has died after ingesting a synthetic or “designer” drug called N-bomb, Smiles, 25I-NBOMe, 25C-NBOMe, and 25B-NBOMe. It was classified as a Schedule I hallucinogenic like LSD by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) in November 2013. Drugs that are classified as a Schedule I controlled substance are generally subject to the felony crimes of dealing at I.C. 35-48-4-1 and/or I.C. 35-48-4-2 and possession at I.C. 35-48-4-6 in Indiana.
From the DEA documentation, the substance has been found “as powders, liquid solutions, laced in edible items, and soaked onto blotter paper.”. . . “Available data suggests that extremely small amounts of these substances can cause seizures, cardiac and respiratory arrest, and death.”
